- Like all new M Series wheelsets, the M6’s rims feature unique front and rear rim design. To accommodate the modern trail rider’s preference for 2.3-2.5” wide tires, the M6’s front rim features an internal rim width of 32mm, and the rear is 29mm. The front rim’s additional width and lighter construction maximize compliance, traction, and tire stability. The rear rim has been optimized for power transmission and durability.
In addition to the new rim design, the M6 is built to ENVE’s straight-pull INNERDRIVE™ mountain bike hubs. INNERDRIVE improves ratchet-driven technologies by increasing the diameter of the ratchets, which allows for higher engagement without sacrificing durability. Riders can choose between a 40, 60, 80 (stock offering), and 100t drive ratchet to tune the wheel to their preferences. Further benefits of the INNERDRIVE system include ENVE’s Perfect Preload system which delivers prolonged bearing life and minimal maintenance.

“The new M6 is so good for all-mountain adventures. It’s light, fast, and has the bombproof reliability I need for the backcountry.”
- Joey Schusler
When considering E-MTB applications and compatibility, the M6 is an excellent choice for E-MTB riders looking to shed weight and improve the ride experience on light e-MTBs with peak torque ratings of 75 NM or less.

TECH & FEATURES
The all-new M6 sets the standard for modern trail wheel performance by delivering optimized compliance, weight savings, and reliability.
Wide Hookless Bead Pinch Flat Protection
The M5 Pro, M6, and M8 wheels all feature ENVE’s patented Wide Hookless Bead technology built into the construction of the rim. It features a wide rim bead to dissipate impact forces across a broader surface area when a tire is bottomed out on an object. This reduces the likelihood of pinch-flats by 50%. The rear rim features a wider rim wall than the front, as our data and real-world testing has found rear rims will pinch flat most often. The new M Series' compliant design further aids in pinch-flat reduction.

ENVE INNERDRIVE™ Straight-Pull Hubs
ENVE’s INNERDRIVE™ hub system refines and improves upon proven ratchet-driven technologies by increasing the diameter of the ratchets to allow for higher engagement without sacrificing durability. With options between 40, 60, 80 (stock offering), and 100t drive ratchet to tune the hub engagement rate to their preferences. With the highest tooth count, INNERDRIVE™ hubs will engage in as little as 3.6 degrees. Further benefits of the INNERDRIVE™ system include ENVE’s Perfect Preload system which delivers prolonged bearing life and minimal maintenance.
Unique Front and Rear Widths and Construction
Each wheel in the new M Series 5th Generation lineup features unique front and rear rim construction. The front rim is more compliant to allow the wheel and tire to contour over and around terrain, reducing the jarring sensations of repeated frontal impacts. The rear is firmer, to maximize power transmission and impact toughness. Widths are optimized for front and rear tires, with the front rim running slightly wider than the rear.

External Nyloc Locking Nipples
All M Series rims feature ENVE's patented molded spoke hole technology (US Patent # 8,313,155 B2), but now with external locking nipples. Each nipple is equipped with a Nyloc insert to keep spokes tensioned and wheels true.
